Solutions
1. We are counting by 7's because to go from one number to the next number we need to add 7. The next three numbers which would appear are 77, 84, 91.
2. 2. counting by 10's starting at 1,000 . Going backwards , we would have subtracting 10 of 1,000 to arrive at the first number. So the initial number will be 990. We continue counting, going down by 10 each time. So the first 5 numbers that appear could be: 990, 980, 970, 960, and 950.
3. We're missing two numbers , and we can confirm that they're between 33-55. Since we are skip counting so we know that we are addingthe identical amount to the prior number. There is the gap of 66 - 33 = 22, which is where the two numbers are. This needs to be split equally into three pieces(from 33 up to next number, from the next number until the subsequent number in turn, and then from that number up to) Therefore, we need to be counting by 11's. The numbers that are missing are 54 and 44.
